A day between the Poás crater and the Sarapiquí rainforest, with a typical breakfast, fresh fruit by the river and lunch near the water.

We leave San José early for Poás Volcano, one of the most striking active craters in the country. Then we head down to Sarapiquí, where the rainforest and the river are waiting, and return on Route 32, which crosses Braulio Carrillo National Park.
